Wow brakes working great now
I bought these pads to replace my factory pads that had been contaminated with fork oil. I had 2 fork seal go in one year and the first time the dealer attempted to clean the pads up but the brakes never worked the same after that.
Now that I have installed these and they've had some time to seat properly the brake power is amazing. There is a noise that I hear that sounds different but after researching online I've read many complaints about it. Something about holes drilled in the rotors interacting with the shape of the new brake pads and it gets rectified when they go back to Honda factory pads. If this is the case it doesn't bother me. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't something wrong with my installation: which was quite easy by the way.
These might even brake BETTER than Honda's factory pads. It's been a while as I have 34,000 km on my bike. I have to go easy on the squeeze when stopping and being that they are organic, I'm not worried about damaging my rotors.
