Questions
Please explain {wide or narrow}. Does it pertain to the thickness of the rotor or overall diameter?
The overall diameter should remain unchanged, the difference lies in the available surface making contact with the pads. Some prefer a narrow style rotor so that more of the wheel is shown, while some like the wide version to have as much surface as possible for braking to be most effective.
