EBC Standard Brake Shoes Item # 95562
Description
EBC Brakes plain motorcycle replacement brake shoes are an OE quality replacement brake shoe made with boned brake linings and using high pressure die cast aluminium platforms for two wheeled machines. Shoes are edge trimmed and radius ground exactly into the brake drum. They have chamfers on the ends of the lining and come complete with OE style brake shoe springs.

Doesn't fit properly
I bought this and when it came time to install they didn't fit so we had to grind off quite a bit on both pieces. If you put the old piece side by side with the new one you will see the difference. Fortunately for me my friend had a bench grinder so I could drive out and finish the job.

Be Careful
Be careful installing…. I ordered 4 identical sets of the front brakes on two identical machines. 3 sets installed without any issues but the 4th seemed to fit a bit tight inside the brake drum so I tapped the cover with a rubber mallet and unfortunately the brake linings broke away from the metal backing making them unusable. My advice…., if the drum covers do not slide back on relatively with ease by pushing on them, then readjust or grind off some of the brake linings from the shoes so they are not tight in the drum. The other 3 sets fit well and work as expected. I would buy them again but be more careful installing next time.

Est-ce que l’ensemble comprend 2 kit complet pour l’avant ou je dois en commender 2 ?
Une boite fait seulement un frein. Il faut donc en commander 2 pour faire l'avant.
