Pretty decent. Solid construction.
Seems well built. Got some weight so it’s definitely not plastic. Doesn’t come with tapered a screws for the holes under the plate but I had stock.
Plate holes are NOT North American spacing so things will need to modded.

Love it, but...
It's excellent in quality. LED would be far better, and it's only a two wire not a 3. Description doesn't provide these details unfortunately. Great product However, great looks and quality.

Not bad replacement for the expensive original
Emgo stuff used to be the bottom of the industries non OEM parts. They are not the bottom any longer.
Emgo parts nowadays are decent, at good price.
This tailight is a good example.

Questions
What is the bolt configuration and bolt distances? Also, does it have a ground wire, and if not, will it work properly without one?
It will work properly yes, just no running light.

Are there two or three wires on this tail light? (i.e. does it support tail light and brake light of just brake light)
There are only two wires. One wire is for the running light and the other is for the brake light. The chrome base is the ground. I ran a wire from the chrome base to the ground wire on the bike.
It works great.

Is this tail light DOT approved? Thanks, Keith
Unknown, but it passed provincial inspection as requirements are vague in that regard and simply require it to be as bright, or brighter than DOT lighting
