Too many people cheap out and opt into re-using the old rim tape ... at these prices, its a no braine to replace it

Rim Strip looks OK
I have not used these yet but at first glance they look OK. They may be a bit thin but they do not look, feel or smell (not stinky rubber if you know what I mean) cheap. They are about ~0.5mm thick and 30mm wide. The ones I got were made in Taiwan; I find things from there are usually well manufactured. If you are looking for a more severe service you may want to purchase a heavier duty rim strip. They will certainly be good to carry in an off-road pack as a spare. Will see how they are installed ...
