I ordered this Coil because it was gray in the pictures. When it came it was red. Not worth spending money on return shipping so I guess just toss it in a parts bin back shelf. Maybe one day I’ll build a red bike.

A great little coil
This is the only coil I could find for my 6 volt 1975 Honda xl 250 without buying a greatly overprice original. It is compact, fits under the tank and works great.

Would this coil fit a 1983 Honda xr 100 ?
I'm not sure, but it could easily be custom fit. i bought one for a 1974 ty80 and it didnt fit, so i only bolted it on with one of the bolt holes and it worked fine.
