Effective solution for sizing mirror stems
These work well on my 1970 honda 90 with post-era honda 90 mirrors. Easy to tighten into the original unit.

Questions
The mirror mounts on the FTR 1200s are left handed threads. Are the mirror adapters male left handed threads?
This mirror adapter is used to reduce or increase thread size to allow mounting on 8mm or 10mm applications, male to female or female to male. This is a universal, right-handed thread.

There's an 8-10 option and a 10-8 option, but I'm not sure which is which; ie, does 8-10 mean it has an 8mm female hole and a 10mm male pin, or does it mean an 8mm male pin and a 10mm female hole? I'm trying to put some 8mm mirrors onto a 10mm bike.
The 8-10mm option has a 8mm male thread and 10 mm female thread. Therefore, it will accept a 8mm female and 10mm male.
The opposite is the case for the 10-8. 10mm male and 8mm female, accepting 10mm female and 8mm male.
