Torn apart even with light use
There is a reason why the best reviews are after extended use of the product. When I see a review that says, "5 stars - I just opened the box and I love it" I want to shout, hey, use the darn thing first. And that's why I'm here for you today.
On July 12th I the bought your EVS Assen Gloves, large size. They were a perfect fit and after a short 45 min ride in the hot sun I was very impressed with the comfort and especially the airflow whilst still feeling protected by the stout knuckle guard and leather palm. But wait, there's more....
Over the weekend I did a 1,200 km, three day ride from Toronto to Espanola and around Manitoulin Island. I put the EVS Assen Gloves on maybe three dozen times, riding in hot sun, some rain, wind, the usual Ontario climate. I am an experienced, slow pace rider and take care of my gear. Both gloves tore at the velcro. This is very disappointing as I really wanted a nice pair of ventilated gloves for the summer. When I saw on the first day that the first glove tore I was extra careful with the other glove and it also tore in the same place on the second day. Also I began to experience pinching of the leather palm and mesh that forced me to adjust my grip or risk a blister forming.
So, I cannot recommend these gloves. They will not last you more than a dozen on/off rotations. And a glove with a broken closure may not stay on when you need it most in an accident.

Ripped after one season
Don't buy these. The velcro straps are loose and flimsy and they tore after one season of light use.

Danger to manifold from
Beaux et bons gants, mais drôlement ajusté.
J'ai acheté ces gants pour le look simple et la bonne aération mais le pouce est trop court de même pour le petit doigt. Tout mes gants sont medium mais ceux-ci dans cette grandeurs sont insupportable avec les coutures qui rentre dans les doigts.
Je crois qu'une grandeur de plus serait de trop pour le reste de la main.

Super comfortable summer gloves
I bought a pair of these gloves two months ago. No complaints so far. Solid armored knuckle, breathable mesh, quality leather workmanship. I'd give them 5 stars if they were not so expensive.
