I've been riding with these for about a month. The comfort is pretty good. My only complaint there is that the protector tends to rub my knuckles a bit. There are a few loose threads and some mediocre stitching, but that's not surprising at this price point.
I'm giving this 3 stars because I'm skeptical about how much protection these provide. These gloves have a shock absorber that locks up when you bend your wrist back about as far as it'll go. The shock absorber is plastic, so it'll still flex with a lot of force. The shock absorber stretches the fabric above the knuckle if you put a lot of force into it too. Although these redirect some force into your forearm, reducing the risk of hyperextension, I'm skeptical how much these would do even in a low speed crash. I don't understand why they allow you to bend your wrist back fully. I could bike fine with wrist mobility limited to 10 degrees upward. I would have preferred if this had palm sliders too.
I've been experimenting with taping my wrists to prevent hyperextension recently and it combines pretty well with these gloves. It limits wrist mobility so it's hard to put your hands into a bracing position and the tape redirects more force into your forearms. The combination is enough that I don't feel like I won't injure myself unless I crash really hard with poor technique.
Overall, I'd recommend these because they're much better than nothing and I haven't seen anything that provides more protection unless you spend a lot on wrist braces.

Does what it is suppose to do
Wrists have taken a few knocks so wanted a little protection but not a full on wrist guard. When I first tried them on I thought they might be too stiff and get in the way but that went away the moment I started riding. Have yet to put them to the test, hope I never do!
