Buyer take note
I bought this kit for a 1997 KX-250 front wheel rebuild not realizing that it utilizes spline drive nipples.I discovered,not having used these before that this type of nipple doesn't want to accept the same amount of torque as a conventional square type and ended up galling a couple of them that required a good amount of torque while truing the wheel.Something to keep in mind when rebuilding older wheels that may not be 100% true to start off with.To be fair I am no expert wheel builder and a more qualified mechanic may have better luck but I won't use this type again.

The nipples are a tiny bit to large and have to be hit into the rim with force

Doesnt fit.
I bought these spokes for my 05 ktm exc 400 and the rear wheel laced up great, the front not so much. the spoke nipples bottom out on the spoke thread leaving the wheel way to loose. Unfortunately excel does not offer any other spoke for ktm.
