I bought this a month ago and have used it a couple of times and I am very happy with this product. It warms up fast and I also bought the dual heat troller for my heated gloves and it works great. The jacket fit perfect for the size chart.

Worth the investment
I got this to pair with the first gear heated socks and glover liners for snowmobiling - will definitely use the jacket this spring / fall on my GS as well (once hubby figures out how to connect it all). It all connects easily and works very well - easy to keep the controller in a side pocket and adjust on the fly. No way to vary heat to jacket /pant/gloves but I find I need all three for sure. life changing it is!!

Fantastic features
I’ve been riding with this jacket liner a month now and I am very happy with it. I love the heated sleeves. The entire jacket keeps me warm in 0 degrees Celsius weather riding my motorcycle here in Canada in November. I like the way it fits.

Super confortable
J'ai acheté cet article le mois dernier et je suis très satisfaite! La température est bien répartie et j'adore le collet du manteau. Il monte haut et chauffe bien!
Très belle investissement pour débuter et prolonger la saison de moto!

Game Changer!
I bought this to be able to ride in mid-June in Nova Scotia and wow - what a game changer! This will definitely lengthen my riding season. Kept me cozy warm. It did get a little hot on my skin in the belly area, but I was wearing a very thin shirt. Nice to have the dual control for jacket and gloves - being able to control the temperature will come in handy. Fits true to size - I'm usually a medium and it fits like a glove. The heat in the neck area is fantastic. Zero purchase regrets.

Great jacket!!
When received it, it took me 2 days to figure out how to install it using the directions provided and the video on Fortnine, mainly because of the confusing pocket configuration. However, it's an excellent product as is toasty warm. My only minor complaint is that it's quite a short jacket, for some reason. Another inch long and it would be perfect. I'm very petite, so the small size is right, but even I find it a bit too short.

Questions
Does this fit under your regular riding jacket? Or designed to wear on its own?
I bought this one for my wife. It is made to wear under your regular riding jacket. Very happy with it and lots of warmth you will certainly need a heat control or it will be too warm lol. Highly recommend this one.

Can this be worn with a portable battery pack off the bike, for example, to the hockey rink? If so, which accessories and battery pack would I need to purchase?
I would say you could if you can find a battery pack that will run it And then the question is how long will the battery last.
I have a Millwauki heated jacket for work and if I have it on med I get about 4hrs heat that's it.
Hope this helps

If I buy this jacket and a pair of Firstgear Riding gloves, do I have to buy the wiring harness for gloves separately or does the jacket come with the harness already built in? It seems to look like it in the picture, but I'm unsure.
The jacket comes with wiring in the sleeves for gloves. You just need to follow the instructions with jacket and reconfigure the connectors is left pocket. Also you will need a heat troller with 2 outputs one for gloves the other for jacket.
