New for 2019, the RS WP takes on the role in our mid-season range of a short, weatherproof urban glove that’s versatile and practical. Featuring metacarpal protective shells discreetly inserted underneath waterproof fabric, a shell on the palm, and, especially, a weatherproof membrane, it protects its rider just as much from risks in case of a fall as it does from bad weather. The advantage of a short, lightweight glove for urban use is clear: it easily and discreetly blends into your overall look and its reduced bulk makes it truly practical to carry around. It can therefore be your everyday partner, just in case the weather is unreliable, tucked into your bag or at the bottom of a top case.

First pair of riding gloves that I've purchased.
To start, they aren't really water proof in any real sense. Maybe a very light rain for a short period of time, but any type of prolonged exposure in any rain and they eventually soak through. Most likely starting from the cuff.
Secondly, they aren't insulated enough to be adequate for longer rides in any temperatures below 12 celsius. I rode for an hour in 8 celsius and my hands were numb halfway in to the ride.
Thirdly, they lack ventilation and airflow, meaning your hands get quite sweaty in hot weather. While they don't make my hands feel extra hot or anything, they do become a pain to take on and off once your hands get sweaty.
Also, the stitching around the cuff has started to rip, probably from trying to pull them on with difficulty from having sweaty hands.
Overall, not a bad mid season glove, but I'm slightly dissapointed in them, mainly from a build quality point of view because of how quickly they have ripped (only been using them for 3 months).

These will deflect light rain, but I would not call them waterproof. Any descent downpour, and they soak through, becoming quite difficult to pull on or take off. They offer descent protection, however, and the slide tabs do help.

They are very well put together
Good built and sliders are well placed. It is comfortable. Wouldn’t call them thermic or waterproof but they hold well against cold and water. They don’t overheat my hands during summer but don’t except ventilation.
