Description
The Factory 4.1 RCT incorporates the latest in FMF Resonance Chamber Technology™ both internally and externally. In addition, it achieves a shorter overall length that is less susceptible to crash damage and complementary to the Factory Forward Engineering - moving the muffler closer to the motor to centralize mass. Good fit ,
Well worth the purchase... Better power everywhere and lighter than stock. Note I am running without the spark arrestor insert so it is quite load when revving it out. I haven't tried the insert as I am not in an area where sound levels are an issue.. hope this helps someone

Great tone
Purchased for my 2017 FE 250, amazing tone vs. stock silencer. Improved throttle response and likes lower RPMS in second gear now. Recommend this for any husky owners especially for FE’s to let breathe better

Great sound & looks
The fit and finish of this pipe was very good. It sounds great. Have not been able to ride enough to really see if the power has improved but I am happy with the pipe either way

This exhaust get rid of the 2 ugly stock restricted exhausts. Back to single with some nice flow, exhaust note is nice an loud. Comes with spark arresters and a new flatter side number plate. Noticed more torque right away.

Nice unit
Looks and sounds great. Was surprised how much lighter it was then stock. Never rode the bike with the stock exhaust so I’m not sure if the performance is any different.
The only negative point was the sticker blew off the titanium part the first time I touched it with the pressure washer. I’m thinking it was just poorly applied. Bought a new one for 7 bucks I think.

I am very happy with the fit and finish of the exhaust
Sounds great and drops a lot of weight off the bike
I can't say it changes the power because the place I ride is smaller and a 450 is way too much to begin with so never get near the potential to see any gains

If I slip this onto my stock head pipe, later can I get a mega bomb sx header and it links up this as well? Or is it a different fitment.
For the most part, yes. FMF build their mufflers to be fully interchangeable between all of their products and stock components. This way you don't have to worry about something not fitting down the road.
There are a few instances where their mufflers will only fit their header, but that's because they weren't able to get the gains/fit they wanted without making it an FMF only version.
Some KTM’s slip-ons do not allow for an additional header to be added. We recommend you call one of FMF's customer service representatives at 310-631-4363 to confirm.

For a 2013 Ktm sxf 350. If I buy the power bomb header and this pipe do I still need to buy the mid pipe?? Or this comes with that section?
If you purchase the header and the muffler, it replaces the full exhaust system, including the mid pipe

Is this a single muffler (not like factory dual) for a 2016 crf 450r? Is there a new number plate that comes with the pipe? HP gain? Remap required?
I out this on my 16 honda crf 450. Single muffler I only got the muffler . No side panel. No tune required but the right tune is always a good idea to optimize existing or new add on parts.. the muffler alone with no other changes made more mid range power and pulled longer on top end.. I was a worthwhile add on in my opinion

How much louder is the "FMF Racing Factory 4.1 RCT Titanium Slip-On Exhaust" then stock?
I run mine without the spark arrester on a crf 450R .. It is louder but a deep tone and not raspy .
