Quality product.
The silencer was shipped fast and at a better price then my local go to dealer. Great way to be compliant in more states and provinces as spark arrestor become mandatory. No weight or performance issues over factory pipe.

No worries and no loss of power!
With our dry summer conditions in bc, and new rules requiring an approved spark arrestor for use on Crown land, this purchase was a no brainer. I’ve only been running it for a few rides in cooler temps, but have not noticed any difference in power level at all. Installation was straight forward, bolt on process.

Easy install
Easy to install right out of the box. Appears to be around the same weight and size as my stock muffler. I used some high temp silicone with the stock gasket and clamps to give it a tighter fit so I didn't get the odd oil drips from the gasket. You can just use your stock clamps and gasket even though the directions state to use silicone you just get a bit of blow by off the gasket if you don't silicone it. Silicone needs to cure for 24 hrs, got mine from Napa but any hardware store stocks it but make sure you get the red cap its higher temp. Noticeably quieter at start up, still revs and sounds like a 2 stroke, it's a little big but for the added protection in the forest with the spark arrester and forestry approved silencer it's worth the weight and size, plus it looks nice on the bike. Seems to work great with the stock pipe. Always happy with fmf products, Spend the extra couple of bucks for the silencer if your using it for trail riding and keep the stock pipe you won't regret it.
