Takes the edge off the noise level
I drive a klr 650 almost daily. Bought an FMF power core 4 exhaust and noted a difference in performance. I did not enjoy the noise of the muffler on long trips. The silencer improved the highway noise with minimal change in performance.

Is this just a spark arrestor or does it quiet the exhaust as well?
It is a spark arrestor as well as it quietens the exhaust.
