Great Quaulity and Easy Install
Bought this mainly for the spark arrestor. Looks awesome and was super easy to install. I just popped the rubber grommets off the stock pipe, installed them on the FMF pipe and reused the stock hardware.

Braap braap braaaaaaap
Purchased this silencer for the spark arrestor feature. I was hesitant that it would take away from the performance of my bike, but it hasn't at all. The exhaust note change slightly to a deeper richer sound over the FMF shorty I had on previously yet sounds awesome. Overall the production quality is what we've come to except from FMF along with a super easy install.

A good trail legal exhaust
I already had a full FMF system on my Banshee, but I needed a set of spark arrested silencers, so the Turbinecores were my best choice. Easy installation, and a must have item if you plan on riding any public trail system, or even just for peace of mind riding any trails.

More Power!!
I bought this silencer not because the stock one was poor, but I wanted a spark arrestor. I had read that spark arrestors have a negative effect on performance. Not true! This one adds to it. The bike has more power all the way through the power curve. I get to top speed so fast now that I keep looking for another gear. It also provides a slightly deeper sound....Cool!

This cost me hundreds extra
I bought this silencer for my 2001 KX100 ground up rebuild thinking it would be ideal. When I completed the project, the bike would idle and rev nicely in neutral, but immediately bog and die when in gear and under load. I chased every possibility under the sun. Ended up buying a new carb, made sure I had no air leaks, worried about ignition system issues... nothing worked! Finally (completely as a last ditch effort) I pulled the brand new silencer off to eliminate it as an issue and, lo and behold, suddenly the bike ran perfectly! I couldn't believe it! I proceeded to pull the silencer apart and found that it was completely restricted by packing material in the bend where the pipe met the silencer body. I hold FMF in high regard, but how a silencer could leave the factory in this condition blows my mind! Didn't need to spend countless hours chasing possibilities. Didn't need to buy a new carb. If it had just been QC checked before it left the door everything would have been great! Horrible experience.
Granted, it's a great product now that I cleared the passageway and it can breath, but WTF!

Easy install
Product was easy to install and fit well. It didnt change the sound much at all. Although the spark arrestor makes it less likely to get fined on a trail. All in all happy with it.

Questions
How do I install it I don't see the metal tube attacked to it
This muffler is plug and play, it comes with the lead pipe that connects to the expansion chamber. The fit is perfect and the sound is great. If you are sure of the model number, you can be sure of the fit.

Will this silencer work on a factory pipe? Instead of buying the silencer and pipe, can I just buy this and will it fit with stock pipe
The fit data that we have on this silencer (and all of our parts) is based on the idea of fitting it onto the OEM parts of the vehicle (original vehicle's parts). So to answer your question. So as long as your bike is marked as a confirmed fit through our fitment checker, it should fit onto your factory pipe.

Can I use this on my street legal XR650R ?
I would say yes, the only legality with DOT would be noise, I am not a legal expert but you are allowed to change a muffler.
