Tested in 55mph ground hit
I was riding home and got swiped by a lane changer when I was next to the driver door passing them at about 5mph difference. I was in the HOV, they were single occupant and shouldn't have tried to use the lane... Regardless...
My left knee struck the the pavement after the vehicle hit my front wheel and knocked me to the left. I have a hole in my riding pants, but not even a bruise on my left knee where the Isolator 2 took the brunt of the impact and dissipated the force. I had just swapped the armor from the OEM CE1 that came with the pants the weekend before. Glad I did!

Forcefield Isolator 2 Armour
I replaced the knee armour of my Tourmaster Venture pants with Forcefield Isolator 2 armour. Not only is the Forcefield armour a much better fit, without any flopping around, it is also much more comfortable, without a hard cap, and conforms better to the knee.
I subsequently replaced the shoulder and elbow armour in my Tourmaster Intake Air Series 2 and Tourmaster Transitions Series 2 jackets with Forcefield Isolator 2. Much better fit in al areas and, again, more comfortable.
This was definitely a positive move all around. Greater comfort and, IMO, far better protection. I I have no intention of field testing the latter though, but I do feel a greater sense of protection should that happen. And that’s the whole purpose of armour.
Also have to add that FortNine were great to deal with. Prompt service, quick delivery and well packed. Pricing is also very reasonable.

Easy upgrade
Bought these to upgrade the armour in my bohn adventure pants. Slim profile and flexible. Size is similar to original armour. Would give it five stars if it would provide a little extra shin coverage.
