Very goodIt’s contoured but serious protection. Takes a bit of getting used to then you don’t notice it. I covered the bottom tail that stuck out under my jacket with black reflective tape as it has yellow accents and didn’t go with my jacket colours etc. but now it blends. On my husband his jacket totally covers the bottom tail. I think women’s jackets tend to be shorter perhaps. You can never be too safe when it comes to spine so just invest for peace of mind.

There is a reason this back protector is #1This back protector is awesome. My suit is extremely fitted so I was worried about getting a protector that's safe but doesn't sacrifice space. This exceeds that need.
Only complaint is that if you are between large and medium, you should get the medium. I have to ensure I put my suit on just right to ensure that my large is in place correctly. Not the end of the world!

Good, soft and adaptable impact protection.Bought to replace a Dainese Manis D1. The Manis is a great protector, too. But it's a bulky combination of thick foam on the inside and polycarbonate plates on the outside. The Forcefield moulding is a bit thinner, way more comfortable, and adapts much better to your individual shape. Huge improvement if you only have limited extra space in your race suit.
The only complaint left is that MSRP is too high for a back protector, even for a top-quality product.

Great protectionI've only got one ride in so far, and I'm still trying to get the fit to work perfectly. Glad I read the other review that said to order a medium if you are between medium and large. My jacket zips to my pants so it's not a problem keeping tail in but the waist of my pants were pushing the protector up so the top was hitting my helmet. Need to make sure the velcro waist is inside my pant waist and also try to not over tighten the straps. Just some little adjustments I think. Fits really nice under jacket.

Crash testedHad a low side on track and walked away with just a bruised knee. The protector is comfortable to wear.
Make sure you have some slack in your suit first.

Loved ItSo it's the best back / spine protector I've ever tried but unfortunately it didn't fit well under my race suit and so I had to return it. I regret not keeping it for my road riding set up.

Awesome Feeling ProtectorSo I bought this and landed up returning but the reason didn't have anything to do with quality or how much I liked it... it simply would not work with my track suit setup. I have a pair of underwear with a tailbone and hip protector and the Forcefield unit has a tailbone protector on it too. The two protectors landed up being really bulky and nothing could be done to fix it. Sadly I decided to returned the back protector but nothing else seems to feel as secure as the Forcefield Pro.
I have a Forcefield Elite Chest Protector (from you guys). Can the strapping with the Pro L2K Back protector be integrated Somehow to just pull the whole thing over your head or do they always have to be put on separately? Thanks

Forcefield do not recommend making any changes/integrations to the straps, so they do need to be put on separately.
