Unexpected.
Wearing now for 3 weeks. It fit snug in my trilobite jacket. It fit smaller than expected as the force field is stiff. It give a a hunchback look, but I can still move around. Make sure your jacket is large enough to accommodate 1.5 inches of width for the overall fit of the garment. No crashes to gauge, but I feel that the materials and manufacturing will make it a good addition for my back safety

A bit bulky but not really noticeable once it's on
I bought this because I didn't want to skimp on protective gear. It seemed a bit thick and size 002 was a tight fit into my tourmaster jacket but I got it in and it fits great! I haven't crash tested it and hopefully I don't!
Once on I notice it while I'm putting it on but once I'm on the bike I don't notice it.

Does what it's made to do!
Feels strong. Much stronger than and 1cm foamy that comes in most jackets. Have yet to ride with it in hot weather but it seems like it would help more than hinder in cooling effects. Very comfortable as well which I was worried about with a back protector.

Grosse protection

Perfect fit!
Fit my dainese jacket's back protector pocket perfectly and feels great when on. Makes the jacket heavier when picking it up but you don't notice the weight when wearing it. Certainly feels very sturdy like it would offer a lot of protection in the event of an off. Highly recommended and gives great peace of mind.

A significant upgrade I never want to test
I was not overly impressed by the foam armour in my Joe Rocket Alter Ego jacket and pants. I am more conscious of keeping myself safe as I get older and wanted better armour. After a lot of research I decided on Forcefield and bought a complete kit of back, shoulders, elbows and knees (no hip armour pockets in the pants). The Forcefield armour feels much more solid and will be more protective. It increases the bulk slightly and patience when installing is important, especially the back insert. Once in , you hardly notice it and I feel much better protected, while never wanting to have to find out. Very happy to be able to buy locally in Canada.

... best thing.. I did not make use of it! Perfect
I inserted this into my 'older but reliable, perfect condition' Rhino Jacket. I just rode all through Argentina and Chile through to Ushuaia (6400 kms).. and it just came out of the wash. All still intact, very comfortable.. and reassuring that my spine was protected by the best. The original 'pad for bleachers' that was in-place would have been useless 'if' I needed the protection. Don't skimp out on your spine.. just don't.

Questions
Which size would one select for a 2xl Alpinestars Bogota jacket?
I would measure the back insert you have in your jacket and pocket to hold the insert, then decide which size would fit best for your jacket. My guess would be the larger size as I am 186 cm and 91 Kg, I have the larger one for my jacket.
With easy returns you can always exchange it hassle free.

Which size would you recommend for the Kilimanjaro Jacket small size?
Size 2 for men's small.
