The Fox 34 Step-Cast Podium Gold Fork (Limited Edition), constructed as in the Factory Series, the highest level of performance of the line, is made for the rigors of modern XC racing, while being the lightest of the 34 category.

The lightest 34 ever, the 34 Step-Cast is designed from the ground up to deliver uncompromising XC race performance with class leading tunability, chassis stiffness and strength.

To celebrate 50 Years of pushing potential further, FOX is releasing a run of Factory forks in its brand-new limited Podium Gold colorway. Once sold out, this color will not be restocked.

S-C Factory Series:

• Designed to exceed the demands of Factory-level riders, with slippery smooth and ultra-durable Genuine Kashima Coat Forks.
• Step-Cast uses a lighter weight float air spring system that automatically equalizes the positive and negative air chambers for increased sensitivity and traction regardless of the air pressure setting.

Lower Leg Arch:

• Modern frame designs and geometry trends require modern suspension design solutions. The arch design is designed to pair perfectly with modern trail bikes. Head tube profiles have grown larger and larger, and fork offsets shorter and shorter. Fox new arch shape takes this need into account by jutting forward to provide ample headtube clearance at full compression. State-of-the-art computer modeling techniques helped to create an organic lower leg shape that optimizes stiffness with the absolute minimal amount of material.

Damper:

• GRIP SL is an incredibly light, short travel-specific damper that not only saves weight, but provides an unparalleled ride feel in its class. Riders experience a supple stroke with an optimized pedal-to-bump efficiency, as well as a smooth blowoff force in lockout mode to reduce rider fatigue.

Kabolt SL Axle:

• The svelte new Kabolt SL thru-axle drops an additional 12 g over our standard Kabolt axle by eliminating the additional weight of an axle nut and decreasing the flange diameter.
