Fox Factory Live Valve is the new ultimate responsive technology for your hardworking MTB suspensions.

The Live Valve optimizes suspension performance in real time, experiencing a whole new way to ride with clearly noticeable power. So while the Live Valve does the work, you can focus on your ride.

The Sensors transmit terrain and rider inputs a thousand times per second. The Controller then independently adjusts both forks and shocks one hundred times faster than the blink of an eye. The result is the best possible combination of XC pedaling efficiency and enduro descending capability.

Features:

• Controller:
  • The brain behind the technology. By monitoring terrain at a rate of a thousand times per second and making suspension adjustments in just three milliseconds, you're set up for maximum efficiency and control no matter what the trail throws at you.
• Battery:
  • Mounted on the Controller, the specially designed lithium-ion battery acts as the main user interface and can be charged via micro-USB either on or off the bike. The setting selector button allows you to manually switch between five different suspension modes.
  • Battery life can vary depending on Live Valve settings and terrain. Average life ranges between 16 and 20 hours and charging takes between 1.5 and 2 hours.
• Calibration:
  • Equipped with pitch detection, the system can recognize when climbing, traversing or descending, and tailor the suspension settings to maximize your bike's performance.
  • The system only needs to be calibrated once unless replacing any sensors, the controller or changing the fork travel.
• Live Valve App:
  • Select from factory tunes or customize your own, track rides and suspension service intervals, and all from your smartphone via the Live Valve app!

Note:

• The 2018 Rocky Mountain Altitude appears to be LIVE Valve compatible but the cable routing port near the rear shock is not large enough to pass LIVE wires through. Please contact Rocky Mountain for additional information on upgrading to LIVE Valve.
