Fox Factory SLS Coil Spring for your favorite Rear Shock.

SLS (Super Light Steel) springs are lighter than titanium springs, and at more affordable prices. A proprietary surface treatment and stress relief process removes residual stresses from the spring, allowing them to withstand higher stresses. Each spring is optimized by using a smaller wire diameter and fewer coils, creating a lighter spring.

Especially designed for your DHX, DHX2 or VAN//Bomber CR series rear shocks from 2016 onwards, all SLS springs are orange and are marked with their spring rate in lbs/in and the maximum travel of the shock that they are designed to be paired with.

Specifications:

• Spring Strength/Rate: Marked as e.g. "500 lb", it refers to the spring rate, which is how stiff or soft the spring is by inch.
• Travel: Marked as e.g. "2.8 inch", it refers to the maximum free stroke of the spring. The travel is the maximum amount a spring can be compressed until the coils touch and create a coil bind, which is very bad.
• TLG (Total Length): Marked as e.g. "4.28 in TLG", it is not the full measurement of the spring, but the maximum usable stroke. This is physically how long the spring is when uncompressed.
• Inner Diameter: All SLS springs listed have a 1.385" ID.
• Color: Orange

Notes:

• TLG can vary a bit. The Total Length listed is an average of a sample of springs.
• Please make sure beforehand that the travel/stroke length of the spring is larger than the stroke length of your shock. If it is not, coil bind will occur and parts will explode.
