The Gaerne Balance Oiled Boot is an extremely durable boot made with a full grain oiled leather. It is also waterproof thanks to the breathable Gaerne Drytech membrane. A gum rubber sole completes the task for a great feel and offers maximum bike control.

Excellente botte pour du double-usage
Elle sont assez souple pour marcher et offrir une protection de base à vos chevilles. Les semelles sont très rigides donc si vous pilotez debout sur de longues periodes, vous allez les adorer. Elle sont confortables et imperméables.

I hope they break in soon
I bought these boots and although they look awesome, they got a bad ankle fold in the leather the first ride while I was hiking around, maybe they aren't made for walking very far but I got them to do dirtbike adventures in and hope this works its way out of the boot so i'm not limping through each ride and getting bad blisters in these boots that cost me (after shipping and all) almost six hundred bucks. I'm not hiking around very much, just ride a bit then stop and look around...i figured they would be designed to take steps in, not just fold in at the ankle and eat away at my skin through the sock. I'll update this review if it goes away.

Gaerne Balance Oiled Boots
These boots are great. Look sharp. Leather feel and look. Feel great on the foot. These boots fit true to size. Normally wear 10 wide shoe/44 Euro. Fit is right on. I have a wide foot and these are accommodating. Have moderate protection for your off road adventures.

Quality boots.
As always, Gaerne Trials Boots are well made and work exceptionally well as a trials boot. Good grip with the sole. Comfortable for my foot right away. I have a narrow heel and I find that Italian footwear suits my feet.

My replacement boots are fantastic... The first pair had a manufacturing defect... so I had to send them back... at no charge to me... very pleased with the exchange... now if this snow would stop I could enjoy them on my bike!!!

Great controls and peg feel. Easy to maintain leather with dry brush and clean cloth. Keep moisturized and these will be your styling Italian shoes for years to come.

So bought these for my first trip North, 4 years ago. Still going strong after my 3rd trip, this time to Tuk with lots of mud and rain. Comfort was great from the start, I have a short fat foot with a wide toe bed. They still keep my feet dry and I expect them to continue, 50 k and counting. I clean and treat them after each season to give them a tad of love,so they still look great.

Do these boots fit big or small-- I take a 9.5 street shoe-- Euro size 43
From the reviews we have read about the Gaerne Balance Oiled Boots, they seem to fit either pretty much the same as a street shoe or a little tight. We suggest, if you are worried about the fit, that you size up slightly. A little larger, more comfortable boot is better than one that is too tight.

How’s the fit around the calves? I have large calves and need extra room.
They’re adjustable but who can really say until you try them. It’s probably best to just order them, try them and return them if they’re not suitable. Be sure F9 will do that. They should as I ordered two pairs not sure which size I should get and returned the ones I didn’t want. They’re good boots.
