Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Boots These are great, versatile boots. I have a sport bike and a dual-sport and only these pair of boots, and they work well on both bikes. I've ridden in rain, cold, off road and summer heat and these boots have kept my feet dry and comfortable. The top buckle doesn't line up with the strap and is sometimes finicky to snap but that is a small gripe. I plan to tour with them this summer, and as they have softened with use, I think they will work well for the walking that I will do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Boots! I've had these boots for a couple months and so far very happy with them. Comfortable (get a size larger than you usually wear). I have not ridden in the rain with them, but have taken them off-road and soaked them pretty good going through puddles and my feet stayed dry. The aggressive tread works good for walking in the dirt, mud, etc. I also wear them riding to work, they look like decent boots for that too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots! I purchased these a month ago and I'm very pleased with the fit and features. I heard that they fit a bit small so I ordered one size larger and the resulting fit is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice boots These boots are great so far, feet stay dry and comfy all day even after going through deep water, they are easy to clean and look great, easy to walk around in, feels like a pair of sneekers! The top buckle doesn't line up the best sometimes and I would order a size bigger than normal. I've only used them a few times so I hope they continue to hold up, they look like they will.

Just a note to say that your boots are so good that it took me 20 years to purchase a new pair!! I will try to spend more money with Gaerne in the future! ;) Hopefully these new boots won't last as long! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Boot I bought these boots about 2 months ago. I purchased the same size as I buy in a running shoe (10) and they fit perfectly. Easy on and off. Buckles can be adjusted quite easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, they are worth the extra money I use these with a Honda CRF250L dual-sport, and I bought them based on their blend of performance and protection. I thought it was crazy to spend that much money on a set of boots for a motorcycle, but they have not disappointed. These boots are really comfy, with lots of touches that justify the price point. For example, the top of the boot is finished with very soft material to accommodate comfortable movement. The straps are adjustable. I wear them with pants over the boots - works well, and they look fine too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots I am impressed with the overall quality of these boots. Fit, leather quality, buckle system and comfort are great. I generally take a size 10.5 and the size 10 fits fine. Have not had the opportunity to test in the rain.

                  Questions

Would these fit well for someone with wide feet?

                  Asked by: Joey454
I feel they are somewhat narrow in the best Italian tradition of style being important. That being said, I have an ingrown toenail (TMI?) and I'm comfortable in bulky socks. They do EVERYTHING else as you would expect.

Considering these boots. Wondering about sizing. I take a size 9 running shoe, size 10 EEE work boot, and my Fox MX boots are size 11, slightly narrow. Any input about width and size would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My keen hiking boots are an 11 and are designed for a wide foot and fit perfect. My winter Meindl Perfekt hunter boots are an 11.5 wide to accommodate a liner sock. I went with an 11 that were a bit tight while breaking in, they are fine now. I think I could have gone up to an 11.5 without issue. I hope this helps.

What is the overall height of this boot compared to a MX style boot?

                  Asked by: kazil
I'd say...since I don't have MX boots, that it's pretty similar. I am 6'1" and have 34" inch inseam. The top of the boot comes to within inches of my knee. It is successfully waterproof after wading in a decently flowing river.
