Super Comfort and Quality
To be honest this is the first pair of riding boots I’ve ever owned. I had researched and found Gaerne SG 12s at the top of almost every review. Stiff out of the box but after 2 rides fit like a glove and so comfortable. I bought the Enduros for the treaded soles for the mountain trail riding that I do and they don’t disappoint. Very easy to walk around and hike in to check nasty spots along the trail. When trying on boots I was an 11 in the Alpinestars but read these fit a little bigger so went with a 10 and fit perfect. Have ridden in rain and mud and feet still dry, although haven’t done a river crossing yet i’m sure they’ll be fine but they are not advertised as waterproof. So far awesome!!

Another great pair of Gaerne Boots!
This the second pair of Gaerne Boots that I have owned. These have a few more features than the SG10s that I bought 6 years ago. The sole offers better traction when pushing bike (first ride involved snow and slick ground. They seal around the calf better than SG10s. They do take a while to break in. The first ride was very painful because of the boot’s stiffness, but on the next ride none of the pressure points were apparent. Highly recommend this boot. Worth the price especially if you have a wide foot (I’m a 4E).

still winter here
Since they are hounding me for a review and it is still winter here, here I go,the buckle system is fantastic even if you can't bend down well.I am on the verge of being EE and at first they hurt after an hour of sitting at computer, now that I have worn them a dozen times I can have them on for 4 hours at a time before my feet or ankle get sore.I am sure by the time I can ride they will be very comfy, and walking in them is comfortable too.I bought one size larger and couldn't imagine buying your sneaker size, like I did with the Tech-7,where as we just laughed while unpacking, could not even get foot into boot but claim to be true to size, never believe that you should order sneaker size, maybe if you have narrow feet.I have been riding since 1979,these SG12's will no doubt be the most protective boot I have ever worn.A bit expensive but how much are your feet and ankles worth?

Worth the Cost
I wear a size 10 in Nikes, and went with a 9.5/44 in these and they fit great. I may have been able to squeeze into a 9, but I'm content with how they fit.
The protection is amazing, I find them perfectly fine for walking around in, and these are my first motocross style boots.
I also got the Klim Dakar In the Boot pants, and the Leatt Dual-Axis knee/shin guards, and they all sit together perfectly. No issues with pinch points, and I don't notice the gear when I'm riding.
The price hurts at first, but I went with the "buy once, cry once" mentality. These should easily last 8+ years for my riding style, so I won't be crying about boot prices for a long time now. I'd also rather spend the extra money and save myself a broken leg/foot... I borrowed some old Fox motocross boots earlier in the season, and the protection/comfort of these is definitely worth the cost.

Great protection!
Awesome boots, feel great out of the box and amazing after about 10 hours. I’ve had a couple hard impacts with them and can’t even tell where they got hit. Expensive but worth it.

Questions
What is the difference between the SG12 Gaerne boot and the SG12 Gaerne Enduro Boot?
More grip on the sole for pushing your bike up hils and slippery spots, also the portion of the sole that is in contact with the peg is smooth like a traditional mx boat so your boot don't get caught on the peg because of the extra grip
