Vest works great but cord is too short
My battery is right under the seat but the cord won’t reach to the connection on the vest. You can either solder on an extension (as I did) or buy an extender like the on/off switch (which I also eventually did). I hardly notice the heat from the vest but I’m always warm. But I am in Vancouver so it’s not exactly harsh cold here, either.

Works as advertised.
I've owned several heated vests from different manufacturers over the decades and this vest is the best I've ever used. Not a fan of the cords and controllers as they can be awkward to deal because the cord from controller to vest is an odd length.

Fits great
Waiting for the right time to try it out. The only thing that I was disappointed was that I had to order the cable that hooks up to the jacket. I was In the impression that it came with the cables.

Warm enough!
Just a vest. Didn't want sleeves; keeping my core warm was all I was looking for. Just a simple on/off switch on the cord. Heat not adjustable. It doesn't get too hot though. Great for spring and fall riding on the west coast. Vest was recommended to my by a friend. Don't buy it to fit loose. It works better if it's a snug fit and worn just over a t-shirt or regular shirt.

Great Purchase
I ride my HD in 8 degree Spring and Fall weather . This vest is going to take the edge off those cool rides. A nice neat setup. Delivery was super impressive.

Economical comfort
You guys are the greatest!
It arrived fast and quality is fine, BUT I ordered a 2XL thinking I could make due since you were out of stock. AND I found the wife and I both could get into it at the same time. (wrong sport!)
Had to send it back only because it is too big.

Questions
Do I need any adapters to connect and use this vest? I am thinking about connecting it to the same wire I use for the battery tender. I never used any heated clothing before.
This jacket comes with the necessary wires and connectors to draw its power. Please note that you need to install the included 20" battery cord onto your vehicle's 12V battery. If you wish to purchase additional controllers (optional), you will find the part number listed at the bottom of the item description.

Is this vest compatible with the same pigtail you would use to connect (plug into) a battery tender?
No. This best uses a coaxial connector like an audio cable, not an SAE cable like you describe.
