Good fit, perfect size, poor durability
I bought these bags two or three months ago. And already after less than 5000 km I have worn a hole on the inside of the bag. The fitment was awesome they are the perfect size for trail riding. But after only a handful of drops, the bags are effectively useless. These bags work fine if you’re sticking to gravel roads, or easy trails where you’re not likely to fall over. But they definitely aren’t going to hold up to multiple crashes or tip overs like giant loop advertises/claims.

Had mine for 7 years
Great bags, cannot live without them! Work great on a DRZ400, and do not interfere too much on singletrack. Zippers are starting to get sketchy after 7 years, but I did overpack it for a long time.
I'd give this setup a 5, but as Giant Loop has omitted the center tool bag, and now sell it for $50 extra, this gets 4 stars. Expensive, but good!

Great bags for my dual sport
These bags are really good for my KTM 500. When possible, I've changed from carrying a hydro pack (with space for tools/spares etc) to carrying this stuff on the bike. The GL Mojavi is well constructed, but there are compromises due to its ability to fit on multiple different dual sport bikes.
The angle isn't quite right for my KTM and if the bag isn't cinched down very tight, or the straps get wet and loosen a bit, there is play in the system. This is especially evident because I opted to install the GL Mounting brackets. When the bags loosen, the straps can pop out of the mounting brackets. The secret is to make sure all angles and placement of the bag are correct. I slide the bags forward and under the back part of the seat to get the right angles. Some people will be concerned about scuffs to their plastics due to rubbing (this happens for sure, dust, dirt, mud gets in between). Protect your bike if this is a big deal to you (personally I don't care, and the damage the bags are causing is less than my uncovered plastics get). Make sure you place the included pipe guard properly!
Size is great for what I need for this bike, not too big, not too small. Price point felt pretty good compared to the competition (I think I paid $239 for the grey). PS the material is tough: I've dragged my bike on failed hillclimbs with minimal scarring to the bags thus far. I can recommend this system for dual sports for sure.

Better than expected….
Got this bag before a weekend adventure of heavy off-road and wet riding.
Was surprised how well it stayed attached with the fender clips and strap loops through the additional metal brackets.
It did do well in the light rain but didn’t handle heavy down pour too well.
Also, deep water crossings did manage to get into the bags.

A little small for the bigger bikes. Doesnt quite fit the saddle. I slightly modified mine by cutting the middle sewed on more webbing to widen and narrow saddle. I keep stuff good for both my crf450 and my ktm 1090 so i just transfer the bag back and forth. First aid kit, rain suit ,insulator, gloves ,power bars basic survival stuff.

Fit and works well. Just need to watch the bag roll on the exhaust side if inserting items while hot.
