Does exactly what it says it will.
I bought this several months ago to prevent scratches to the body work under the tank bag. It was easy to install and while heavy duty it fit well with the overall layout of the bike. Definitely recommend this product.

Hard to remove air bubbles
I bought this to protect the side panels on a DR650 from scuffing by a Giant Loop Coyote. It's very hard to get all the air bubbles out and avoid wrinkles on the compound curves of the side panels. It really doesn't look very good as a result. I used 1 of the 3 11 x 17 sheets supplied for both sides. I've used it on one day ride and it seems to help but I don't know about long term. Supposedly it is removable.
The stuff is quite expensive and I think duct tape would work just as well. For the price I don't think it's worth it.
