Description
Pair of MONOKEY Trekker Alaska side cases, 36 ltr, equipped with matching lock cylinders plus a third matching lock cylinder for mounting a separate top-case. Equipped with the MONOKEY fitting system, with a single lock that uses the same key to open the case and to detach it from the frame. Compatible with the tubular side-case holders PL_ _ _, PLR_ _ _, PLO_ _ _, PLOR_ _ _. Aluminium Trekker Alaska side cases are entirely Made in Italy, from an original and patented design.
Features:
- Three materials of the highest quality are used: mechanically finished natural aluminium, stainless steel hinges and reinforced technopolymer for the profiles and belt-strap loops
- The cases are detached from the side frame by turning an external knob that is equipped with a cable system (patent pending), placed directly under the Security Lock. It is not necessary to turn the knob to attach the cases
- Easy to load: the Trekker Alaska has a hook system (patent pending) allowing it to be tilted without releasing it completely from the frame. This mechanical system has been specifically designed to prevent the cases from being accidentally dropped and to facilitate loading and unloading even if there is a bulky central top-case, which could make it difficult to access and open the lid
- The strength and structure of the hinge allows the lid to be opened completely, without the use of straps or retention cables which could produce a "guillotine" effect
- Ergonomic handle integrated into the lid hinge, opposite the case's opening and release mechanism
- Four belt-strap loops integrated into the structure of the lid, set into the contoured lid to give an elegant shape to the whole case

Good so far
They were expensive, for me, but totally what I needed to replace my original BMW side cases for my G650GS.
I haven’t used it for off-road yet, just work commuting and chores. Plenty of space for those things and I’m sure for some off-road camping there will be more than enough space.
I did have an issue mounting them on my Givi rack. They didn’t come with the right bolts so I had to track down the bolts, and I used little plumbing brass fittings for spacers. Both worked just fine, and came from Home Hardware.

As expected. A good product
The cases are excellent and I am very happy with them. The problem I have had is the rack. I ordered the side racks for the bike and they came. What was not included was the fitting kit for the specific bike which was not made clear. I then had to work out what kit was needed and order that as well. The fitting instructions for the racks are not very clear. Just make sure you order 3 things: The panniers, the side racks and the bike-specific fitting kit. If you also fit a top box rack then you need a different (not additional) bike-specific fitting kit to fit all 3 racks. Having said this, the racks fitted perfectly and are easy to fit once you have worked it all out.

Nice boxes but not impressed with the fit. The latch that is supposed to hold the boxes out from the rack doesn't fit. My tail light hits the box and I can't open it without bending the lid around the passenger hand holds.

What rack do I need to mount these on a 2017 Yamaha fz07, I have clicked the links above and they are all incompatible, I know guys out there use these on the bike but I’m not sure what rack system they use to make it work. Thanks!
Givi do not currently list side racks that are compatible with your 2017 FZ-07 and these cases.

What are the dimensions? They're listed on the E22 Cruiser, and DML36 Dolomiti, I'm guessing similar to the Dolomiti?
