Works For 1st Gen KLR650
Works Great For The 1st Gen KLR650 w/ Givi Dolomite Trekker, Had To Drill Some Holes In The Stock Plate To Get It Back Far Enough For My Passenger To Fit Comfortably Though. 4/5 Stars, Would Put 5/5 But I Got No Stickers.

It Works!
Worked great on the pre-existing plate on my 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000; it also worked great with the Kappa 48L top box. Fun fact, Kappa doesn't have a adaptor plate (available), but Givi does, and it works with Kappa top boxes.

Great fit, easily adapted, secure attachment.
Allowed me to add in a V46 top box easily to a rather customized mounting bar on my versys 650. It is definitely a universal adapter from my experience.

Once you figure out how to install the bottom brackets, installation is very quick (instruction booklet not very helpful). But product is as displayed and delivery was quick. always kept up to date with FortNine

Questions
I have a 2007 Suzuki Vstrom dl1000 with no Givi rack parts. Will this top plate work by just bolting onto the stock top case area or does it require other givi rack parts?
For your 2007 Suzuki Vstrom DL1000 you just require this adapter kit (monokey or monolock depending on the case you have).
