Perfect Bags
Lets face it when you buy a Adventure bike you want to do many adventures as possible but sadly we all have work and busy lives to lead. As much as I would LOVE to own the big 50+ liter bags and look like a world traveler, I'm not. These bags hold my lunch, small amount of groceries, and perfect for the weekend get away. They don't stick out past your handle bars so you never have to worry when going a little off roading if your going to fit. Many things in life I regret buying these are not one of them

Small Storage, Big Help
The Combined 44 Liters help me carry a substantial amount of groceries, equipment and gear and its top loading design and slim shape help when tightly parked between other bikes.
Be mindful of packed items interfering with the locking mechanism.

Well priced for hard cases... might be a bit small
Having burned through (literally) a set of Cortech soft saddle bags, it was obvious bags with a rack was needed. These panniers fit the bill. With one key working with both panniers (you receive two keys for each pannier), the locking is convenient. You can only remove the panniers when the top is open because the release from the rack is inside the panniers - so stealing these things would not be super easy. They are some of the smallest saddlebags around, but if you are looking for a bit of extra storage that locks, these will work for you. They will break easily in a fall - not the most durable, but for the price it is what it is. I use them with a soft Cortech top bag - a much lower profile than the enormous Givi etc top bags. I wish the rack brought them in closer to the bike... you can still filter with them, but why was all that space necessary Givi? Just one thing to note - when you buy the rack, you will ALSO need to buy the bike-specific mounting hardware... Ca-ching.

Great Value!
Did a touring trip with these bags. Great set of bags. Looks good, solid mounting, rain proof. I was able to fit 4 long sleeve shirts, 4 pairs of long underwear, 4 pairs of socks, a hat, jacket liner, and toiletries in 1 case. They are smaller cases, and it was tight, but it fit. The 2nd case was for all my other equipment. If your looking for big and spacious, not these. If your looking for small and efficient, you’ll be pleased.

Great size and super convenient.
Absolutely love these cases. Not too big like the massive 50L ones available but impressively roomy, also I love that the open from the top instead of the clamshell style, much easier to put stuff in these ones.
The convenience of being able to pop them off when I want to is great, fill it with food and use it like a picnic basket, fill it with clothes and use it as a suit case, or best of all just pop it off when cleaning the bike for easy access behind them.
My only gripe are the keys and locks themselves. Very chunky and not smooth at all. After going on a off road ride the mechinism got packed with dust and sand and i snapped a key off in the lock it was so jammed. After 15 minutes and wiggling I got it open and cleaned but that was not cool. I might figure out a cover of sorts. Also the availability of racks don't extend to very new bikes as I had to modify a rack for an older cb500x to fit my 2020 cb500x. The fitment makes them hang way out to the point where they are slightly wider than the handle bars.
Overall I still love them and would get them again. They look great and function nice.

Well made and look great
I've been using there cases on my '012 DL650 for a couple of years now and have just returned from an adventure thru Northern BC, Yukon and NWT. As usual, after planning to travel relatively lite, I found the cases overloaded and heavy. No problem! They performed flawlessly and looked great on the bike to boot.
Great buy from FortNine.

Big Improvement
I previously had soft bags that leaked when it rained and required multiple straps to restrain them. These are a big improvement. They are easy to attach/remove and offer decent capacity.

Very happy with these bags
I have been using these bags to and from work for a while now, and have used them on a weekend ride. They look small on the bike, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I could get in the bags, and they are more solid then I thought they would be.
My partner has larger Kappa bags that open on the side rather than the top, and I am glad I got these instead. I can open these with no worry of items falling out. They pop on and off quickly, and 4 keys are handy to have.
I have washed the bike with these on, not a trace of water inside, although I haven't used them in the rain yet. I'm not worried about water getting in.
The only minor annoyance is if emptied and opened, they will tip over.

Questions
Do you have the specific side case racks for an MT-09 2019?
No, Givi do not list side case racks for your 2019 MT-09

Does anyone know where to buy liners for these cases? Ive had them for about a year now and love them. Would be great to have liner inserts that could be hauled out instead of detaching the case each time when checking into hotels etc.
I use material grocery shopping bags. They cost $1.50 from my local grocery store and are the perfect size.

Is this case fit for my motorcycle? Mine is yamaha XSR900 2018
These cases require vehicle specific mounts to allow installation. You can find the racks required here:
https://fortnine.ca/en/givi-specific-tubular-side-case-holder
If you enter the year, make and model of your vehicle on the product page, you will be able to order the vehicle specific part for your bike.

Will this side case set work with the PL188 rack on my 2014 G650GS? I believe it will as it says the rack will work with all Monokey except "WILL NOT work with the V35 and V35 Tech Monokey-Side cases or the Trekker Outback". So I think I should be good?
Yes, they will fit.
