Easy install. Use it with a small bag, wish the ring was some 5 mm lower. For larger bag might be OK.

Givi tank lock. Works great. Tank bag clips onto it and bag floats above the tank. Sturdy. Doesn't unclip or anything at speed. Not to hard to install.

A necessary addition.....
Excellent, with a caveat.
GIVI gear is not inexpensive in the first place, you do get what you pay for.
Buy a tank bag, for a minimum of $100. from Fortnine, then having to spend ANOTHER $23 plus taxes is kind of painful. I have multiple bikes and swap tankbags from one to the other(s). A cash grab, in my opinion.
Btw, this fits 5th generation VFR800 (1998-2001) even though that bike isn't listed. For an additional bike, you also need the plastic ring that goes with this, so it adds up. Not Fortnine's fault, it is the way GIVI, SW-Motech et al work. Nickels and dimes all help the bottom line.

I have the givi xs308 tank bag. Is this the correct tank flange for a tiger 800 ?
I use the tank bag on a R9 T. One needs to buy a specialized receiver type adapter for each specific MC model. [ I think there's a fitment chart @ Fort Nine, but there's is one on the Givi website] The tank then just snaps in. The tank works great , convenient on/off and up and away from your tanks about1/4 of an inch. No rubbing or scratching.
