Does the trick
I had made my own "netting" to install inside my covers. After one riding season, they had basically fell apart. These Givi Elastic nets are made of very sturdy material, and I know they will last.

Useful for Small Stuff
Used on a pair of Kappa 35 litre "Venture" side cases which are Identical to the Givi Trekker Outback side cases. Now I can keep small items inside the pannier lid and not have them buried in the bottom.

No fasteners.
A little disappointed. The net is nice quality but it does not come with any hardware. Pretty expensive for a little bit of netting
