Description
The sturdy and corrosion resistant GIVI M8A / M8B aluminum adapter plate is specifically designed for the GIVI Monokey top case line up. Simply install this adapter plate to any GIVI FZ or SR racks and attach your favorite GIVI Monokey top case. This base plate is manufactured using 5mm aluminum with an anodized black finish. The embossed pattern and GIVI Trekker Rack stamp on the plate match the GIVI Trekker top cases. Grab the GIVI M8A and show your support for GIVI's rugged adventure touring line-up when the case is not fitted to your motorcycle.
Features:
- Made from aluminium-colour brushed and anodized aluminium
- Compatible with all Monokey cases
- Compatible with the EX1SRA extendable aluminium rack for carrying large and/or dry-roll bags
- Does not allow the mounting of a stop light kit / remote-controlled opening kit
- Maximum load of the case: 6kgs

Beautiful in black
I bought this to replace the hideous plastic base that come stock with monokey racks. Does not come with hardware (heads up).
It is very well made, but like in many GIVI assemblies, I had to shim the triangular latch piece, by removing the washers from the bolts and using them as shims... or else my Maxia box refuse to latch.
Please use loctite on all the screws or you may arrive lighter than when you left.

This is just a universal mounting plate that is required to mount Monokey cases to a bike specific rack. You would need to check with Givi which GIVI FZ or SR rack fits your bike.
