Trekker Outback top-cases designed for lovers of the off-road experience, improve safety and comfort and provide great convenience while riding.
The new Trekker Outback top-cases do not require a specific mounting kit and can be mounted on any existing GIVI Monokey plate.
For lovers of total black versions, there is also the Trekker OUTBACK Black Line range, whose all-aluminum body is completely painted black.
The TREKKER OUTBACK top case 42L provides the capacity to stow a full-face or modular helmet.

Rugged & Spacious Top Box
Purchased this to go with an existing set of Givi Panniers and replace my plastic Kappa top case. Everything from Givi is of excellent quality that I have purchased. It is very expensive but you get what you pay for.
One fitting issue to watch out for is that you may need to put the rubber bumpers into the baseplate in order to get it to attach properly. Plus I had to use a decent amount of force to get it to latch but once you figure out how much pressure to apply it works flawlessly.
Recommend getting the top lid netting and I installed a rechargeable LED motion light for those dark nights you need to find stuff.
Will take a full size modular adventure helmet with room to shove gloves, jacket and other stuff in there.

Great box.
Pros
Sturdy box.
The strap down attachments help.
Seals seem to keep the rain out. Quick release is great.
Box and Monokey system can "unofficially" handle much more weight than rated.
Cons
A cargo net is not included for the lid part of the box, I like to store lighter items up there.
A tad bit $$$
Finding a Monokey bracket system in stock for your specific bike could be difficult.
Recommended? Yes.

Perfect size
Bought the Trekker Outback42 for my CB300R with the Givi specific rack. If you see this combo and think you can just buy a Monokey box to fit on the Givi rack well it won't. I knew this but I was hoping it would, so I had to make a custom mounting plate (2 plates) to make it fit.
It wasn't the easy way to add a top box but I didn't want a Monolock box.
The Trekker Outback42 is just perfect, sized to fit many types of helmets and room to spare to put in gloves and other small things.
On the CB300R I feel the weight a bit, I knew this would also be an issue but the top box so useful that I can live with added weight.
If I want to shed some weight I can just remove the box.
I used a Monokey M7 plate, I think there's an universal Monokey plate that would make easy to mount on the rack. The M7 looks a lot better.

No, the Givi OBKN42 Trekker Outback Top Case does not include a mounting rack. It does not require a specific mounting kit and can be mounted on any existing GIVI Monokey plate.

Does the Givi OBKN42 Trekker Outback Top Case come with the key and the lock ?
Yes it comes with both. I have Panniers as well which come with a 3rd lock to use in your Top Case so you can have all using the same key. But if you just get the Top case you get a lock & keys.
