Beau look
Facile a installer. Semble mieux convenir à une utilisation sur rout que hors route. Les supports qui la fixe sont minces et ne me semble pas trop resistants aux impacts.
Reste a voirs sont état après quelques sorties en sentier . Pour l'ensemble, le produit est de bonne qualité.

Great Fit!
Purchased knowing it is light duty protection from stones and road debris, as that's all I need. Great fit and easy install, around 30 min not rushing and clearly reading instructions. Looks great and fast shipping as usual from F9.

Protection against flying debris
I've had this product for over a year now. I bought it because at the time I didn't have crash bars, and absolutely wanted something under the engine and this fit the bill.
Give calls it an "engine fender" and that's really what it is. As a skid plate, it's mostly cosmetic, but it does provide protection against rocks flying off the front tire.
Maybe I'm being too harsh, as i have bottomed out on the skid plate numerous times, and have never had any actual engine damage. But I do have to take the hammer to the "skid plate" every time I change the oil and pound the dents out.

Great for dirt roads
I've had my Givi "engine fender" on the bike for about 4 months now, and it has certainly come in handy. As protection against rocks flying off the front tire, it is ideal. It is not, however, a very good skid plate. I've pounded a few dents out of it already, and thankfully it's only been subjected to slow speed hits on rocks while trail riding.
In short, it's a LOT better than nothing, and on a V-Strom, which has all the bits just hanging out there for all to see, this "fender" should be considered the minimum amount of protection necessary. If you're going to do any serious adventuring though, I'd look at something more robust. And something that mounts to the chassis rather than the engine.

Fit fit fit
Givi is not cheap. But the Givi/Kappa pieces I’ve added to my VStrom all share the same trait. Fitment.
The skid plate fit exactly right, and was straight forward to remove for the the next oil change. And the clang I heard a couple days ago on a forestry road was a solid rock bouncing off the new guard. I smiled.
