Givi Rapid Release Side Case Holder Item # 644600

Description
This linear Rapid release fitting system designed to accommodate MONOKEY series cases consists of quick release black tubular side case holders for the mounting of two side cases, light but at the same time robust. Its essential lines however do not spoil the motorcycle profile and its simple quick release mechanism allows you install or remove this mounting hardware easily and efficiently. PLR series tubular side frames can be combined with GIVI's Monorack system to add a top trunk solution, additional hardware maybe required to mount PLR series frames for side case use only.

Excellent option for Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer
Bought the Givi Canyon side bags (panniers) for my Africa Twin. Added a 2020 Triumph Tiger 1200 Desert Edition to my stable and was hoping I could swap Givi Canyon panniers between the two bikes. Well, Fort9 happened to carry the mounting brackets for the Triumph. Ordered/received/installed without issue. Top quality hardware and fit perfectly. Not often are you able to move gear from one bike to another but this worked beautifully.
Thanks Fort9 and thanks Givi.

Poorest instructions I've ever seen
The racks are well made and once installed secure the bags well and come off and back on flawlessly.
But the instructions are woefully lacking plus the parts required to install on my bike (KTM 1090R) weren't there, I had to mix and match bolts and fashion some spacers to get them mounted properly.
Great quality and bags, but installation was a chore. Probably better on other models or brands.

2018 vstrom 1000xt
Great product but not a direct fit for a Vstrom 1000 xt. You have to change the subframe covers ( Xt comes with sidecases) to the non Xt model. The hard case rack does not clear the brackets in the givi kit. Pic shows the piece you need to change. I still recommande this kit for the fast removal of the racks when you dont use them!

Givi Rapid Release Side Racks
Once installed, it is very easy to remove and put back on. When removed the remaining attachment hardware is virtually unnoticeable. Very solid when riding

Just What I needed
I was looking for a racking system for my 2019 AT-AS. I wanted something that could be easily removed and installed and that fit with the OEM inserts on the bike. Originally I had set my mind on the SW-Motech Pro Carrier system that has a quick-release mechanism and the appropriate insert tabs as well. After checking with SW-M Germany, it seemed that there would be an issue with my already-purchased GIVI Gravel-T GTR709 soft paniers and plates (I would have to IMPROIVSE with the installation). I actually did go ahead and purchase the SW-M system but, about two hours later, (don't ask me how or why), I happened upon this GIVI system. It was love at first sight...AND...no need for improvisation!
A quick call to F9 and my first order was cancelled immediately (stellar customer service!) and I order the GIVI, which arrive , as usual with F9, at lightening speed!
ONLY negative point: I find that the GIVI install instructions did not clearly indicate, at least to me, that an adaptor unit was required if I was not installing the GIVI rear rack plate. I placed the order for the adaptor and finished the install the weekend after. HEAD'S UP: The adaptor install is a real pain in the butt!!! You have to disassemble the whole rear end seat area and rack on the bike! ….4 hours

Awesome, fits perfect compliments the bike well
there is some drilling! do not go too big...go slow, I used a small round metal file to get a nice tight fitment, of the 4 spacers, . once all fitted i then double checked , added a small bolt to each side 9where you can put a padlock) i wont take them off the bike. fits my soft bags, and now looking at the Give trekker Dolomiti in black hard cases... VERY happy camper indeed

The fit on my Triumph Tiger is perfect, one of the easiest aftermarket accessories i have installed yet. The quick release is super easy, 1/4 turn and the whole rack system is removed. Takes 60 seconds or less to install or remove the racks. I use them with the Givi GRT709 saddle bags which are made to fit. Again, adding or removing the bags is easy and they lock to the rack system.

Will I be able to attach Moskomoto Backcountry 35L Pannier?

Hi! I'm wondering if you know if the monokey attachment points (ie. the metal wedge at the top and the two pegs at the bottom) are removable? They look like they are bolted on and could be removed, but not sure. Thanks!
Yep those come off.
I have the Dolomite boxes on the same rack. On a 2009 bmw f800gs....Easy install.
