Description
The new GIVI S950 GPS holder fits easily on most bikes and some scooters. It attaches to the handlebars via a sturdy clip and can easily be locked in place thanks to its quick-release locking system. The S950 lets you use the same GPS device from your car, or your smart phone (if equipped with a GPS or satellite navigation program). It allows for both horizontal or vertical screen viewing, and it has openings for external power cables. The outer protective shell of the S950 is semi-rigid, and it also comes with a waterproof cover to ensure an effective barrier against water, without interfering with its use.

There are limits
I found the clarity of the instructions lacking, specifically for the extension mount to the unit. However, I mounted it directly in between the forks, onto the handlebar and find it seems sturdy enough. Its handy that you can still use the touchscreen through the clear window. I've not used it in rain yet, but the pouch seems well sealed along the zipper. The direction arrows to remove the pouch from the mounting plate are imprinted on the mounting plate face and can't be seen until you remove the pouch. The instructions were again weak in this regard.

Questions
What size gps will this fit? 4.3. , 5" etc ?
I have an older 4.5" Garmin Nuvi, with a wide frame around it and there is definitely room for a newer 5", since they tend to have the narrower frame. The touchscreen still works through the clear window, but it is more difficult to hear the instructions. I use the loudest setting and an annoying bell for turn commands, and just glance down to see the direction arrow. Ride safe.
