Great rack but challenging install.
This rack comes with everything you need except detailed instructions for moving the rear signal lights. (BMW G310GS) That is the trickiest and most time consuming part of the install and there are no instructions to tell you how to extend and route the wires. It does all work but you will have to take apart your back fender to get inside, extend the cables and then route to the new bracket.
Everything is well finished and of high quality materials.

Great set up
I didn’t care much for a top box and soft bags wasn’t what I cared for either. This set up is perfect for my weekend trips. Nice, solid frame. I struggled with the instructions a bit but overall I love it. I can fit everything I need and there’s a bit of room left.

Good value, solid construction.
These bars appear well built, they fit well on my KTM 990 Adv, sturdy fit with no movement when mounted, nice slightly textured finish. The only thing to note is that the front edge is angled presumably for passenger leg clearance, which means that bags that are not designed to fit these bars specifically are not well supported in that corner - not a huge deal but worth noting.

VFR800
Installed on a 1999 VFR800. Made the brackets out of mending plates as I didn't want the top rack. A few cuts, drilled a couple holes and rounded the ends.

What off brand side cases work with this mount? I'd rather not pay $800 per case. Do any Moose cases work?
This is a tubular pannier holder for Monokey cases, and other universal side cases/ saddlebags that require a tubular type rack for mounting

No, they can be mounted without the monorack or any other top rack

Are these sold as a pair, or single mount?
Does this really fit a a 2018 CB500X since the guide shown here says up to 2013 and also my tailpipe isn’t the same with no place to mount that adapter mount (as in the guide).
Do these work with Givi trekker outback?
These will not fit the Givi Trekker Outback side cases. You would need a Monokey Cam-Side holder. The part number will start with a "PL" and end with "CAM". The numbers in between will depend on the year, make and model of your vehicle.
