Felt unsafe and disappointed.
Slid my hands into these muffs and immediately my left wrist got caught on the edge of the muff. I was unable to unhitch my left arm without using my right. Basically, you cannot wear a watch or jewelry or anything that might catch on the various edges. I never installed them and immediately returned them (at my cost) rather than risk riding with these "hand traps." I'm sad to say but I absolutely do not recommend them.

Amazing cold riding gear , extended my ride season
i ride a yamaha fz6 and i live in canada and i did 1500 km in 30 days , all temperatures 0 to -8 . i have been riding for over 15years till the end of season and i have to say that these helped immensly. Was not cold ,
and it made the ride soo much more comfortable especially on highways when you ride over 100km/h . They are universal, they are big and kinda funny looking , you have to fitt it around the control cables and all but once you figure it out they are great! i have never had an issue to put my hands in and out of them, after 2 rides it was part of the bike and i found it very easy to get use to. no safety concerns or anything like some reviews said. i dont usually write reviews but i had to as these muffs made me enjoy something i could not before in previous years. if you debating yes or no , go for it you will not be dissapointed and they're not that expensive compared to other options like heated grips. :) ride safe peeps

Perfect for Winter Riding!
These are fantastic. Only reason for a 4 is that the outer rear corners of the muffs splay out a bit when installed but this can be cured using a zip tie. For the BMW GS the TM418 are large enough. the other smaller givis are not large enough to clear everything. These are huge so they can look a bit dorky bit for me it is a non issue as they keep your hands toasty warm and dry. When temperature is +2 C the heated hand grips are set to 1 and I am wearing summer gloves and even then I will periodically need to turn the heated grips off. Totally worth it

They keep you warm
I bought these for winter commuting and they didn't disappoint. West Coast riding in the winter and I used summer gloves. Mentioned in other review, that they can catch your clothing/watch and will need to use other hand to undue it. I never had this issue and not sure how that could happen? These do come up the sleeve more than other brands which can be a positive or a negative. Raining you'll appreciate the longer sleeve as it clears wrists and stops rain dripping into glove. Negative is that you need to know your controls as you can't see your grips/controls. Overall very happy with them for the rainy winter commute.
