Rated 4 out of 5 by Blais A from Required for PLX3111 Side Case rack Bough along with PLX 3111 and Givi V37 side cases for a whole touring assembly. Overall, the side arms were very easy to install and provide a clean look with the motorcycle being not too bulky. I hated the look it gave with the arms for the top case plate and ended up sawing it off (you can see in the pictures) which gives it a much cleaner look. this product would be a 5 star but since there were no options for people like me that didn't intend on having a top case and having to saw off a product costing this much, it's a bit of a bummer. If you intend on buying the assembly for the side cases, I recommend you read my review for the Monokey side racks PLX 3111, since there are some things to consider in the process.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RonnieC from Bolts supplied too short I mounted this Givi sidearm system to my 2018 Suzuki SV650. The Fort Nine website says, “won’t fit” when you type in the 2018 model, but it fits exactly, website fitment needs updating, as there is no apparent diff between the 2016 model that the site says in fits. There are two metal brackets to install, one under the seat (you will have to re-route the tail light wires, so the bracket does not crimp them and use their longer bolts supplied, but that takes only 1 minute and they all have snap-in connectors, and one bracket up under the rear tail section. The arms are solid pieces, but the M bolts supplied connecting the arms to the passenger peg mounts are too short!!! Maddening. I believe they supplied an M35 length, and you need about an M55. I went to 3 stores & eventually had to pay $16 on line to get some black M55s. After that, everything bolted up fine. (The supplied bolts are too short to start to thread with the extra thickness of the arms). Hopefully I am the only one that got “short-changed”. Now you will need to purchase an M5 or whatever additional Givi mount to and then your top case (I bought the V40) and you will be all set. Easy to mount

you would need the adapter plate provided by the manufacturer of the top box that you have, they are specific to the brand be it givi,shad,kappa etc
