Great value
One of the lowest profile dot approved half helmet I’ve tried. There are more expensive helmets with a lower profile but this one does not give a mushroom head. If you’re in between sizes pick the smaller one for sure. This model fits more on the larger size - at least compared to other helmets I’ve owned.

Excellent Bucket
I’m very happy with the GM45! For the money it’s an absolute steal. I can see myself getting a new one every year or two.

A cheap half helmet
All I wanted was a cheap, err I mean inexpensive, half helmet and that is exactly what I got. It fits, albeit there are far more comfortable half helmets and essentially that's why they are worn isn't it? I hope it's not because of the safety features!
The chin strap feels like it sits a little forward but I got used to it. All in all I'm not going to say it is a great helmet but I did get exactly what I wanted/expected when I got it; the cheapest half helmet I could find. And I'm going to get my money's worth out of it, if I haven't already!

Is this a low profile helmet? I have a skinny head and most half helmets I have looked at make me look like the Great Gazoo.

Yes, the XS should fit, it is pretty low profile so shouldn't give the mushroom effect. The helmet would be considered an intermediate oval.

My head measures 22 3/4". What size would you recommend, Medium or Large Right at the end of Maxed medium size but far enough from large to ask. Easily returned if order the wrong size?

When I measure my head I get a little more then 56cm, however most of my helmets are iether M or Large (the m hurt, so got the large but is little big) what is the return policy and would the S be better in half helmet of this type?
I got the small, but it didn't fit quite the way I was hoping. It sits more perched on your head rather than formed to it and it's a little bulkier than I thought it was going to be in the sense that it's a little thicker walled. Honestly can't complain about the price, but I resort back to my full helmet most of the time. It's looks nice, but if the medium hurt I don't think the small would be much better. Hope this helps!
