The GM65 Half Helmet is full of new design features that includes a new quick-change retractable sun shield system, dual-density styro technology that allows for a lightweight small shell design that sits down on your head, sun shields are UV400 for 100% UV protection, tinted and clear shields come with each helmet, and our "No Bull Venting Design". Reasonable Price - Good Product
I was looking to get a nice light warm weather helmet. This fit the bill. Safe. Well made. Reasonable price. This is a comfortable lid. It is not a flaw, but I would warn a future customer - the built in sun visor comes down and is very close to the face. I wear glasses. It was extremely tight - including touching - with my glasses. on.

Outstanding buy!
This is the best fitting, most functional helmet I've worn in a reasonable price range. I've been a "Biker" for over 42 years and would recommend this helmet to anyone who is looking for fit, functionality and style in a "Shorty" under $100.00. If you use the fitting chart for correct size you're sure to be pleased with this lid.

Excellent helmet
I ordered this helmet after watching some online reviews. I examined the helmet on arrival and was pleased to see such build quality and features at such a low price. Unfortunately for me the fit did not work with my head shape. My head is too long and narrow for this helmet and it was loose on the sides making it flop side to side yet it fit front to back. It would also be nice if the drop down shield would come down a bit lower than it does. Because of the fact it did not fit me I returned it and bought the same helmet I was replacing.

We have the SMH5 Dual communication system just wondering if this helmet is compatible with that communication system?
With some modifications to the mounting system, you may be able to get this to work with your helmet. However, Sena do make a half helmet ear pad compatible with the SMH5 modules, which would help with installation - item #297683

Is there enough room for prescription glasses to fit underneath the visor? It would be nice not to have take my sunglasses as well.
This was the surprise I had. I have 3 helmets with visors. Different styles of helmets. I never thought of this. Never had an issue. This helmet is wonderful and I love it but --- the visor is close. Very close. Does sometimes touch my glasses.

I am a 7 1/4 in a fitted baseball cap, which is the top end of medium on the size chart. The cap is very snug. Should i order a large or will that be too loose?
This helmet fits a little bit large, therefore we would recommend staying with a size medium.

Is there a sizing chart, available so I get the right size the 1st time?
Yes. Should be right near where you select what size. Measure your head in centimeters, chart will tell you what size you need. Used the chart for myself and my girlfriend, both helmets fit great.

does the helmet come with the visor on the top of the helmet (shaped slightly like the brim of a hat) and sunshield? or do i have to buy those separately?
The peak (that's what the visor up top is called) and the sunshield are included.
