Nice helmet but not quite what I thought
Was my first time purchasing a snowmobile helmet. Was considering two similar helmets and thought the one I purchased said it was heated shield with kit purchased separately. I guess I misunderstood the description even after reading them several times. Was told I could easily return for exchange but I didn’t. Shield has frozen up so granddaughter has had to stop because she could no longer see even with air vents open. Good value for the quality of the helmet itself.

Awesome helmet
Bought this mainly for the girly color and so so suprised when it came with a ton of features. Chin lift, double walled visor, built in sunglasses, quick release strap, it even has a red led light on the back

Will this helmet be good for long winter rides and what batteries does the rear led light use and will it last a long time?
Yes, this helmet is specifically designed for use in winter conditions, with a dual lens shield to prevent fogging and a winter style breath guard. If you are going to be using the helmet a lot, you may want to consider the electric shield version, which will have even better anti-fogging and will also keep you warmer. You can find it here:

The rear light uses AAA batteries, and Gmax do not say how long they will last, but as the lights are LED, they should not burn out for thousands of hours, and they use less battery power than other types of light.

HOw does this work with prescription glasses? any fogging up?
Yes. There's enough room for prescription glasses. This helmet is also specifically designed for use in winter conditions, with a dual lens shield to prevent fogging.
