Goodyear Newton Downhill MTB Tire

The all-new Goodyear Newton MTF and MTR tires have been developed to provide confidence inspiring performance for modern gravity disciplines across a wide variety of conditions. Available in Trail, Enduro and Downhill constructions, with a performance optimised MX inspired design.

MTF:

The large block tread design is optimized for straight line control, cornering confidence, and effective braking. Progressive block layout limits dirt buildup, maintaining performance.

While the F in MTF denotes 'front', the MTF is also very at home on the rear of the bike. Its grip and control focus is something that many of the Goodyear sponsored athletes have been enjoying when the conditions have warranted it.

MTR:

Drive focused tread delivers speed and durability with tracking performance that inspires confidence while transitioning from straight-line to cornering.

And, while the R in MTR stands for 'rear', it's possible to run it up front when the demands on the tires are a little less aggressive.
