I Got Lucky!
Bought this gas tank mount before I realized my new bike doesn't have a gas tank mount! I was so used to the motocross fourstrokes and the bolt at the top of the gas tank, that I never thought to check the tank on my YZ250X. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that with a longer screw, I could still use the mount where my number plate mounts to the triple clamp. (See pictures)

I have a 2016 yz250f doesn’t have the gas tank mount would this screw into the number plate hole ?
No. The Hardline Hour Meter Gas Tank Mount Bracket - HRMM-3 is mountable only on the gas tank.
