          Description

The original enduro tire, forerunner of the much improved Scout, the K60 comes in the smaller sizes for the lighter Dual Sport bikes. It's all about the rubber, Heidenau has developed a great compound with a high natural rubber content. This makes for a resilient tire that lasts the miles. The K60's interrupted block chevron pattern makes for a respectable off road tire that's smooth on the street.

Found in most common Enduro sizes for most manufactures as either a K60 or a K60 Scout. Every Scout is a K60, Not every K60 is a scout. If your rim requires an inner tube, a quality inner tube can be safely used with any K60.

Note: MS = All-Season Tires with Mud and Snow Designation. If a tire has MS, M+S, M/S or M&S on it, then it meets the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) guidelines for a mud and snow tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Tire for my KLR650 Replaced a Kenda K270 on a KLR 650 with the K60 and the first notable difference is the K60 is much more quiet. The Kenda was worn square so the improvement in handling was quite dramatic. No tendency to change direction when riding over uneven pavement. Very easy to ride very slowly without loosing balance. I will not comment on grip as I don't feel my skill level qualifies me to do so. Still cold here so I could only do a couple hundred km on gravel and pavement. Tire balanced a lot better than the Kenda it replaced with fewer weights needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suits my budget and style on a KLR650 Replaced a Shinko 705 on a KLR650 with the K60. Much better grip on gravel without increased noise on pavement. Cannot comment much more as I could only do a couple hundred km due to cold weather.
