Survived 80 KPH Crash
End of the season, was riding home around midnight and I was changing lanes in a construction area going roughly 80 and my tire caught on uneven pavement and I went down hard. Felt the airbag deploy immediately as I tumbled and slid across the pavement. Very lucky that there was no other traffic in the area. I walked away almost without a scratch, and I am very confident the airbag saved me from worse injury. Even though I tumbled and rolled a bit, I had no neck pain, no road rash, and no broken bone, save a cracked rib, from the initial impact with the pavement, before the airbag deployed.
I'm very happy with this jacket, see the pictures for how little damage it sustained. I've already ordered a new CO2 canister because the airbag looks to have no damage whatsoever. Small tear on the shoulder that will be easy to sew, and very little road rash on the back.
I can honestly say that I believe this jacket is worth every penny, I truly believe it save me from being much more hurt.

A for sure safety device.
Let's start by saying you need to order a larger size than normal. I typically wear a large. Needless to say it was way too small. I ended up with a 2XL that seems to fit perfect.
The jacket is heavy to pick up, but wearing it I didn't notice the extra weight. The build quality is excellent. All seams, zippers and velcro are top quality. I've worn it in 10 degree weather with the liner and its nice and toasty. The warmest I've had it on was 26 with no liner. It's not the coolest jacket and wish it had just a little more venting. Still rather be a little warm and safe.
The tether strap took a couple of rides to get used to.....never did actuate the airbag, even with a coupme good tugs getting off the bike. I would highly recommend this jacket or vest for the sake of personal safety. I opted for the jacket because of the obstructed access to pockets under the vest. The jacket has ample pockets of varied sizes.

Really, really smal
Bought this for Christmas and can't use it here before April. But: well made jacket. A bit on the heavy side, but that's expected with the airbag cartridge. But really small on the sizing: I usually wear M. Ordered this in XL according to Helite's chart and although it fits just fine, could have been even a size larger!
