                  Description

New electronic technology integrated into the Turtle 2 Airbag Vest.

The E-Turtle Airbag Vest will appeal to bikers who want to wear the best and very discrete protection. It matches with any outfit and gives extra protection being as unobtrusive as possible. Retro-reflective stripes on the back guarantee the rider a high visibility on the road at night or in bad weather conditions. To improve daily comfort on the road, the collar is made of neoprene material. The three adjustment straps at the front, allow the electronic E-Turtle black vest to easily adapt to all motorcycle jackets while maintaining comfort and great movement freedom. Developed by Helite, the algorithm uses a set of sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS) that analyze the motorcyclist's motion more than 1000 times by second and enables to follow the rider in real time on 360 degree. The system ensures a detection time from 62 ms. When a fall is detected, the airbag automatically inflates in less than 55 ms and before impact. This technology offers the possibility of installing an optional sensor on the motorcycle fork. This fork sensor detects impacts on the motorcycle and allows faster detection and more accident situations to be covered. Highly recommended on the road.

                  Features:

                  • Adjustable: Three adjustment straps to nicely fit the vest over any motorcycle gear. Resistant fastening clips to sustain many inflations. Easy to open and close even with gloves
                  • Retro-reflective: Parts have been positioned on the back to be visible at night or in bad weather
                  • Ventilated Textile and Comfort: The inside of the vest incorporates a 3D mesh textile to allow maximum air circulation. It is clear under the arms to give great freedom of movement. It also has a soft neoprene collar that makes it very comfortable even during a long ride
                  • Convenient: A small external pocket was added to store items
                  • Reconditioning: Is very easy and is done by yourself in a few minutes, without any intervention on our part. You only need to replace (by screwing/unscrewing) the empty e-cartridge with a new e-cartridge. Attention: make sure to choose the proper size of e-cartridge. The one corresponding to the size of your airbag vest
                  • Electronic System: The technology includes several sensors that analyze, in real time, the situation and allows 360 degree detection. When a fall or accident is detected, the airbag automatically inflates before impact. The sensor integrated in the jacket (CDU) tracks and analyzes the motorcyclist's movements in real time
                  • Wireless System: The system is simple and ready to use. No need to connect yourself with the motorcycle anymore, just push the ON/OFF button 3 times to activate the vest
                  • Autonomy: The E-Turtle has a 25 hours autonomy, that is normally about 1 week of use. A USB cable is supplied with the airbag system to recharge the vest (charging time is about 3 hours)
                  • CE Certification: Our airbag systems are CE certified by the ALIENOR CERTIFICATION laboratory, a recognized and independent institute that certifies protective equipment for motorcyclists (PPE)

Option "Full Protection" For total and optimal protection, it is highly recommended to add a second sensor on the motorcycle fork. This option allows to divide the detection time by nearly 2 and to cover more accidents, including stationary and low speed accidents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bag for a bagger Very comfortable to wear, you dont even realize its on when you are riding. Also does not make you any warmer on a hot day as the air flows right around it.

                  Questions

Based on the chart size, with my motorcycle gears on my chest, waist, and hip is XL size, but my back length is L size. Which size should I get? If I order both and try them at home without riding, can I return the wrong size?

                  Asked by: Mohammad
Based on the information you provided, it sounds like most of your measurements align with an XL size according to the size chart. Given the consistent fit that other customers have experienced, ordering the XL size would likely be a reasonable choice.

Internationally you can buy a fork sensor to add additional protection in case of rear Enders while stopped etc. but Fortnine shows the fork sensor as discontinued. Is there a problem of some sort? Just in North America?

                  Asked by: Ewburden
I believe that the issue is just in North America for some reason. I have a vest and am very happy with it once I learned to connect the tether every time.
