The Free-Air Vented Airbag jacket is equipped with Helite's patented Turtle Airbag technology. It has a 600D cordura exterior with mesh panels for maximum airflow. The Free-Air includes a removable waterproof rain liner for those cold, wet riding days. The rain liner is fleece lined with no connecting points to the jacket. The jacket comes equipped with Level 2 CE approved Komine shoulder and elbow protectors.

Great summer jacket
This jacket is very comfortable in hot +30C/85F summer riding and the removable liner is nice for cooler 10C/33F mornings in Spring and early-Fall. Armour is light and fits well. I went up one size, jacket is comfortably roomy if I want to add layers. I don't notice the tether at all.

Not for long torsos
I ended up returning the jacket. It is very well made and comfortable, but it is just too short. It was like a motorcycle tank-top on me, even though the arms and chest were bang on. If they made it just half a foot longer or so I would have kept it. The search continues. For reference I'm about 6'2" and 175lb.

Great investment
Sadly I got to experience what the airbag deployment felt like, sadly the shoulders need to be fixed from the fall however the jacket saved me from far worse injuries! Highly recommend this jacket

Perfect fit!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and am happy with the fit. As mentioned in other reviews it seems heavy at first but once you have it on I don't notice it. I was concerned about the suggestions to order 2 sizes up from what I normally wear so I only went up one size and figured I could switch it out if needed. I am normally wearing a large size and I opted for the XL. This turned out to be the right choice in my case.
Chest = 37.5; Waist = 37; Hips = 39; Arms = 24;Back = 26
There is room to wear the included liner and still not feel crowded. If I add an extra layer for more warmth it would start to be snug but not uncomfortable.

Amazing Jacket!
Extremely pleased with the jacket. It's very comfortable and looks awesome, even in Hi Vis. On cooler days the inner liner does a great job of keeping me warm and on crazy hot days the Free-Air Mesh keeps me from being too hot.. as long as you keep the bike moving :) Having the airbag in my jacket ensures that I'll always be "airbagged".. as apposed to having the Vest..which I know eventually will become an additional "decision" before each ride. As for the airbag feature, I have not had it deploy.. and hope to keep it that way but the simple mechanism that deploys the airbag keeps me confident that it will work and that my vitals will stand a chance in a severe crash. My Lanyard was easy to install and I went with the "under the seat tied to frame of the bike" route. Also, go one size up... I did it and fits perfectly. Very happy.. everyone should wear an airbag in my opinion.

Fortnite and Helite
A great jacket in many ways, although I need to remember to clip in! A bit heavy and slightly hot in 25 degrees or more. Definitely go for a size larger than you think. I’m usually a large, but XL fits me well. There were delivery problems that probably stemmed from an error I made, but Fortnine took care of it all and communicated well. Many thanks.

does it come with inflation canister ? what do you do after it inlates..to use the jacket agin?..how to deflate ? What is the sizing for the jacket?
Yes the canister is included. You would remove the canister to deflate the jacket. See "Helite Reload Procedure" on YouTube.
Keep in mind that Helite products run slightly smaller than average U.S. sizing.
